Bullington Makes Debut
Another former CICL player made his Major League debut on Sunday, September 18. Bryan Bullington, a right-handed pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates, pitched 1.1 innings against the Cincinnati Reds in the Bucs 9-7 victory.

Bullington played for the Quincy Gems in 2000 after his freshman year at Ball State University. He made 3 starts and had 3 relief appearances that year, compiling a 2-0 record with a 2.76 ERA in 16.1 innings pitched.

The native of Madison, Indiana, was the #1 pick overal by the Pirates in the June, 2002, regular phase draft. Bullington had also been drafted by the Kansas City Royals right after high school in 1999.
